Overview
Mitacs Globalink brings senior undergraduates from partner countries to Canada for a 12-week research project supervised by a university faculty member, between May and October.
The student call for summer 2027 has closed. The next call (for summer 2028) is announced on the official page — set a reminder and start preparing your project preferences early.
Support provided
- Contribution toward round-trip airfare and airport transfer
- Housing stipend and a food and incidentals stipend
- Stipend toward enrollment fees and emergency health insurance
- On-campus student mentors, industry events and professional development
Who can apply
Full-time undergraduates (or combined bachelor's/master's) at an eligible institution in a partner country, aged 18+, who have completed at least two years of study and have one to three semesters left in fall of the internship year. Country-specific rules apply.

Funding package
