About this opportunity
GKS-U, run by NIIED, funds international students for a full bachelor’s or associate degree in Korea, including one year of Korean language training. There are two routes: the Embassy Track (apply through the Korean embassy in your country — Pakistan had 3 places for 2026) and the University Track (apply directly to participating universities; the UIC program is open to all countries).
For the 2026 round, embassy-track applications ran 15–30 September 2025 and the university-track deadline was 31 October 2025. Watch Study in Korea and the Korean embassy for the next round.
