About this opportunity
Join ESO’s communication department to write press releases and stories about astronomy. Students and recent graduates in science, science communication or journalism are preferred; recent astronomy graduates with writing experience are welcome. You need fluent English and enough astronomy to read research papers.
Preference goes to nationals of ESO Member States, host states and strategic partners, but no nationality is excluded in principle. ESO does not sponsor visas, so you must secure the right to work in Germany yourself. No remote option.
