Chevening Scholarships 2027/28 (UK)

Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarship program. It offers fully funded awards for one-year master’s degrees in the UK to people with leadership potential from Chevening-eligible countries.

2027/28 timeline

• Applications opened in August 2026 and close in October 2026 — the exact deadline is shown on each country page
• Reading committee assessments: mid-October 2026 to January 2027
• Interview shortlists: mid-February 2027; interviews March–April 2027
• Results: mid-June 2027; offer deadline 8 July 2027, 17:00 BST
• Studies begin in the UK in September/October 2027
